10 Spring and Summer Trends We’re SO Ready to Wear Now

Infused Water Recipes To Help You Hydrate & Detox In The New Year

For all of you fashionistas out there, this post is for you. Spring is here and summer is right around the corner, and you know what that means? It’s time to switch up our wardrobe choices. Some of the spring and summer trends we are seeing are brand new, while some are looks we’ve already been wearing. From boho-chic, to athleisure, to funky colors and patterns, there are looks out there for everyone to love. So far, we are all about the headband look and all things tie-dye, but we can’t wait to experiment with all of these spring and summer trends.

Headbands & Headscarves

We are all about the headband trend that has been emerging in spring lookbooks. They add an extra touch of both elegance and trendiness to every outfit, and keep your hair back and out of the way. That is a major win in our book! Whether you go for a headband or a headscarf, you will be on trend this spring and summer.

Biker Shorts

It’s taken us a bit to buy into this look, but it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, so we are hopping on board. The biker short look will allow us to carry our legging obsession into the spring and summer season, without overheating. Keep it athleisure with a tank and sneaks, or throw on a jean jacket and sandals to make it a little more feminine.

Tie-Dye

While we personally always love tie-dye it is coming back in full force this season, and you know we will be partaking in this trend. Bathing suits, vintage tee’s, dresses, and accessories are being released in all sorts of tie-dye styles and colors. If you aren’t already, it is time to hop on board with the retro vibes for this spring and summer.

Polka Dots

Polka dots remind us of our childhood, but there is nothing wrong with that. This emerging trend puts a cute spin on classic looks, and make any outfit a little (or a lot) more fun. We are really into a white base with black polka dots  – this makes for easy outfit pairing. With summer on the way, how about a polka dot bikini? They are everywhere, and we love it.

Neon Colors

If you haven’t caught on yet, this spring’s looks are anything but boring, and the neon trend is no exception. Neon green, pink, and yellow, in particular. So far, it seems like closet staples are coming out in neon colors. This makes the trend easy to style, and therefore, easy to buy into. Once we all have a bit of a summer tan going, these colors will look even better.

Animal Prints

Things just keep getting better. Who doesn’t love a good animal print? We know we do, and we are thrilled they are in style this season. Snakeskin, zebra, and cheetah print seem to be the front runners. Go crazy and mix a neon color with one of the animal prints, and you will really be ahead of the fashion game.

Fringe

The fringe look isn’t new, but it also isn’t going anywhere. We love the effortlessly cool look it gives to any piece, while still making a statement. Jackets, purses, and boots have been the go-to fringe pieces, but this season, the trend is spreading. This spring and summer, you will start to see dresses and skirts tastefully decked out in fringe.

Crochet

Similarly to the fringe look, crochet has been around for a while, and it will continue to be a part of 2019 spring and summer styles. We are seeing it mostly in resort lines – cover-ups, bathing suits, and beach bags. No vacays coming up? Not to worry, this boho trend is appearing everywhere, and with the warmer temps here to stay, we can’t wait to rock it.

Mix & Match Prints

Why not pair polka dots with animal prints or tie-dye with florals? Apparently, these are on-trend looks this season. While there is still a tasteful way to do so, print mixing is no longer a faux pas. We’ve found the easiest mix to pull off is stripes and florals, but with this emerging trend, nearly anything goes.

Neutrals

We’ve thrown a lot of trends at you, all of which are a bit out there if you aren’t used to experimenting with fashion. The good news? Neutrals are on trend, too! Taupe, beige, and blush will be staple colors in our closet this spring. We love the look of pairing a few neutrals together as well. You can’t get much simpler than this.
