Harbor East is a popular waterfront neighborhood in Baltimore, Maryland. What was once a desolate area, is now a booming and energetic neighborhood. The streets are lined with shops, restaurants, bars, luxury apartment buildings, and businesses. The neighborhood is minutes away from Downtown Baltimore as well as many other Baltimore neighborhoods. The convenience and excitement of the neighborhood attract many visitors and residents, and there is always something for them to do. Living in Harbor East means living in one of Baltimore’s greatest areas.

Our Favorite Brunch Spot
There is no doubt that Harbor East has caught on to the brunch trend. The restaurant selection in the neighborhood is plentiful, but Cava Mezze is our go-to when it comes to brunch. Cava Mezze serves modern Mediterranean dishes, shared plates, and a wide variety of beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. Saturday brunch takes place from 10:00am to 3:30pm, and Sunday brunch takes place from 10:00am to 4:00pm. All You Can Eat Brunch is just $35 with 25¢ mimosas, however, your entire party must order this for it to be available. Cava’s brunch menu offers some of the classics – eggs benedict, French toast, steak & eggs, and home fries. The classics, with a Mediterranean twist, are what we love about the menu – spicy lamb benedict, gyro hash brown, and the village frittata are a few of our favorites.
Our Favorite Happy Hour Spot
Bar Vasquez is a restaurant and lounge with influence from Buenos Aires and Argentina. With two stories, you will find two different experiences – there is a formal dining area upstairs, or a more laid-back bar and lounge area downstairs. Live music from local musicians creates a fun energy, making it the perfect happy hour spot in Harbor East. Happy Hour takes place in the bar and lounge from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday through Friday. The Happy Hour menu varies on a monthly basis. Each month, a specialty cocktail is featured for $5, as well as a selection of $5 wines and $5 snacks. Between the great deals and the perfect happy hour ambiance, we can’t get enough of Bar Vasquez.

Orangetheory Fitness is all the rage lately, and the Harbor East neighborhood is lucky to have its own studio. Orange Theory is a workout based on high-intensity interval training, and your heart rate is tracked and displayed throughout the entire class. Fully trained instructors guide you through a variety of strength and endurance-focused exercises, while also coaching on where your heart rate should be during each exercise. Whether you are new to working out, or a fitness fanatic, Orange Theory can offer you a challenging and fun workout. Your first class is free, and there are a variety of class packages and memberships available once you have tried your first session. The Harbor East Orange Theory is a motivating and fun community to be a part of.
Best Way To Get Around
Harbor East is an extremely accessible Baltimore neighborhood with a variety of transportation options. Exploring through Harbor East, and any other waterfront neighborhood, is best done by walking. Bike Share, the Charm City Circulator, and Water Taxi are other transportation options available in the area. Bike Share is accessible in all of Baltimore’s major neighborhoods, so riders can use it anywhere in the area that they would like. The Charm City Circulator also travels throughout all of Baltimore, and it is free. The Water Taxi is a scenic way to explore the waterfront area. In addition to the variety of public transportation options, Harbor East has easy access to many of Baltimore’s main roads. Whether you prefer walking, public transportation, or traveling by personal vehicle, Harbor East has accommodations for you.

Harbor East is a waterfront neighborhood with a lot of action – restaurants, bars, boutiques, luxury hotels, and much more line the streets of this popular Baltimore neighborhood. The mix of housing, hotels, and businesses bring in a variety of visitors and residents. Harbor East has a very modern and trendy feel to it – there is always something to do, somewhere delicious to eat, and entertainment options to explore. Due to a large number of businesses and individuals traveling to the area, Harbor East doesn’t have the small-town community feel that you can find in other Baltimore neighborhoods. While the small community feel is lacking, Harbor East makes up for it with its energetic and fast-paced environment.

We love The Promenade and Spinnaker Bay for the variety of amenities offered, and their close proximity to all that Harbor East has to offer.
