Mantras & Meditations For Peace & Acceptance In The New Year

The coming week is a big one in DC. The inauguration of a new president brings with it excitement and anxiety depending on your point of view. Either way, we are guessing you could use a little more calm in your life.

If you are like 54% of Americans, one of your New Year resolutions was to be ‘less stressed.’ At Apartminty, we find one of the best ways to relax is hitting the steam room or popping a bottle of champers. But if you don’t have one of those handy and/or it’s 9:30 in the morning, the next best option is a few moments of meditation.

In the coming year {or week}, we’ll all encounter situations or decisions that are out of our control. What we can control is our reaction to the situation. We did some research to find some mantras specifically focused on acceptance. The mantras below are a helpful resource when you are searching for the words to bring your reactions and mind back to a point of peace.

A Mantra, according to the dictionary is a word or sound repeated to aid concentration.   You can take them as motivational quotes, power phrase or hymns with mystical powers…any way you use them, we hope they help you find and keep your calm.
