10 Non-Basic Super Bowl Snacks For Your Viewing Party

10 Non-Basic Superbowl Snacks For Your Viewing Party | Superbowl Recipes

Super Bowl Sunday is less than a week away, and if you’re anything like us, planning your viewing party menu is probably at the top of your priority list (what can we say, we’re pretty food-motivated around here).  In an effort to shake things up a little, we’re looking beyond our super-basic Sunday snack stand-bys and getting creative in the kitchen.  Here are some New England and Atlanta inspired recipes to whip up this weekend.  Ok, maybe themed menus are a little basic, so sue us.

New England Clam Chowder Bread Bowls

Make these adorably appetizer-sized by using dinner rolls instead of larger loafs.

Mini Buttered Lobster Rolls

If you’re lucky enough to find lobster in your local market, this is the perfect way to serve them for a crowd.

“Stuffies” New England Stuffed Clams

If you’ve never tried these before, you have no idea what you’re missing.  They’re pretty easy to make, too.

Mini New England Style White Cheddar Apple Pies

Don’t knock this classic combo until you’ve tried it!

Coffee Cabinet

Two of Rhode Islander’s favorite things in one: coffee syrup (look it up) and cabinets (that’s Rhode Island-ese for milkshake).

Pimento Cheese Fillo Cups

Creamy, crunchy, cheesy and salty…these little bites pack a satisfying punch of flavor.

Georgia Caviar

A classic Southern black-eyed pea salsa, also sometimes called cowboy caviar.

Georgia Style Brunswick Stew

Depending on how you ask, this chili-alternative either originated in Brunswick, Georgia or Brunswick, Virginia.

Bourbon Peach Sweet Tea

Nothing pays homage to the South like sweet tea – we just prefer it kicked up a notch.

Sweet & Salty Georgia Browns

We have a toothache just looking at these little clusters of goodness, but that won’t stop us from gobbling up a whole batch!
