Conveniently located in Midtown is the Solaro Urban Winery. Open Wednesday through Saturday, Solaro allows visitors to enjoy the relaxing, laid back feel of a winery, without having to leave the city. Highly recognized wines from all over the world can be enjoyed here, including wines from Italy, Spain, California, and even Texas. The winery is comprised of two tasting rooms as well as several bar and seating areas. The wine cellars and production areas are enclosed in glass rooms, allowing for some very cool views while sampling the wines. Tours, seminars, and catering are all available through Solaro Urban Winery as well.

Midtown is an extremely cultural area of Houston. The Station Museum is one of the neighborhoods finest art displays. The museum itself is there to facilitate and create cultural awareness in the neighborhood and the city of Houston itself. The museum provides viewers with three to four changing shows, giving the museum an interesting and different twist.  Various art forms are on display, and typically aim to represent different issues and themes that we have seen in both history and current events.
